CamTape ("the App") is developed by Digital Property Brokers, Inc. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use CamTape.
CamTape collects no data.
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information about you or your device. CamTape has no network connection capability and does not contact our servers or any third-party service.
CamTape requests permission to access your device's camera and microphone only to record video locally on your phone.
All recorded footage stays on your device. Nothing is sent to us or any third party unless you choose to share it using your phone's native share sheet (YouTube, email, cloud storage, etc.).
Your tapes are stored locally on your phone only, in the App's private storage. They are not backed up to the cloud, not synced across devices, and not accessible to any service other than CamTape itself.
If you uninstall the App or clear its data, your tapes are permanently deleted. We have no copy of them and cannot recover them.
When you share a tape, CamTape uses your phone's standard share sheet. You choose the destination (YouTube, Google Drive, Messages, etc.). We do not handle the upload — your phone does. Once you initiate the share, responsibility for that data transfer belongs to the service you selected, not to us.

CamTape does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information. The App works entirely offline and locally on your device.
CamTape is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from users under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us immediately (see below).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy in the App or on this page, with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
